Exchange students

GEO1 IS A COURSE ABOUT PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY

This course is designed to give students an overview of the natural environment in wich we live and the way it functions. Students will learn about the planetary phenomena, weather patterns, climate issues, hydrological cycles, plate tectonics, landforms etc. Geo1 is an introdution to the basic physical processes wich shape the Earth.

Exchange students will write a blog about the physical geography of an area they choose. It is suggested that students use Google Blogger when writing the blog but other blogging platforms will do as well. In order to write with Google Blogger you need to create a Google account. Notice that if you have Gmail, you automatically have a Google account.

SO THIS IS WHAT YOU DO FIRST:
  1. Create a Google Account (tutorial video in English)
  2. Create a blog using Google Blogger (tutorial video in English)
  3. Choose the area you want to blog about. It´s good to choose a place that has many things to write about (i.e. few climate and vegetation zones, active plate tectonics etc.)
